Otokar, the largest land platforms exporter of Turkiye, and Guardiaris, the Slovenian company expertise in military training and simulator solutions, signed a strategic cooperation agreement during International Defence Exhibition and Conference, SIDEC 2025 which took place on 21-24 October at Celje, Slovenia.
The agreement aims to strengthen the companies’ commitment to innovation and collaboration in the field of vehicle simulation solutions. This cooperation brings together the expertise and capabilities of both organizations, paving the way for joint projects, advanced product development, and expanded market opportunities.
The agreement between the two companies includes:
Collaborative initiatives in development of Otokar military vehicle simulators
Mutual sharing of technical and commercial insights to drive agreed-upon projects
Joint efforts in marketing, research, and technological innovation
This collaboration reflects an ongoing dedication to drive progress and excellence within the industry, and it is now based on a new order for Otokar Cobra II vehicle simulator short after the initial Arma 8x8 simulator for an African customer.
Guardiaris is a highly innovative company specialised in the production of custom designed training solutions for the defence industry. With out-of-the-box approaches to training, the latest in audio-visual technology, and biometric analytical tools, Guardiaris aims to increase combat survival rates for the next-gen soldier.
As Slovenia’s first international defence exhibition, SIDEC 2025 marks an important step in strengthening allied industrial cooperation within the NATO framework. It is operating with more than 3800 employees at the factory built on a land of 552,000 m2 in Sakarya. Otokar has been manufacturing buses for public transportation, light weight trucks for transportation and logistics industry, and tracked armoured vehicles and tactical armoured vehicles for the defense industry.
