GAMI, SAMI Conclude Successful Participation at Dubai Airshow 2025

The Saudi General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) has concluded its participation in Dubai Airshow 2025, which was held over five days at Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The exhibition featured a series of bilateral meetings between GAMI Deputy Governor for the Enablement Sector Eng. Saleh Al-Aqili and a number of representatives from specialized international government entities, as well as national and international companies.

Discussions focused on avenues of cooperation to enhance opportunities for strategic partnerships and transfer advanced technologies, contributing to the enablement of the military industries sector.

For its part, Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), the national defense and security champion, a PIF company, also announced it has concluded its participation at Dubai Airshow 2025 with high-level delegation visits and a series of strategic agreements reinforcing its position in the commercial aviation sector.

SAMI participated with a large presence, represented through its aerospace companies, SAMI Advanced Electronics Company (SAMI-AEC), SAMI Alsalam Aerospace Industries, SAMI Airbus and SAMI Aerospace Mechanics the company demonstrated integrated capabilities across defense electronics and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services.

During the show, SAMI Alsalam drew significant attention with the signing of five major commercial aviation agreements. The partnerships included agreements with SkyFive Arabia to integrate Air-to-Ground (A2G) connectivity systems for Flynas aircraft; Jazeera Airways to explore base maintenance opportunities for its fleet; Air Atlanta Icelandic to collaborate on base maintenance services for the airline’s fleet; ALPHASTAR Aviation to collaborate on private aviation MRO services; and ARTS Aviation Asset Management FZCO to enhance cooperation in maintenance, supply chain support, and technical consultancy.

SAMI’s participation at Dubai Airshow reflects the growth and transformation of Saudi Arabia’s aviation sector, fostering innovation, empowering national talent, and reinforcing the Kingdom’s position on the global stage.
