Lieutenant General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s National Guard Staff Director, received Sunday Lieutenant General Syed Aamer Raza, Chief of the General Staff of the Pakistan Army.
Major General Hisham Mohammed Al Thawadi, Assistant Chief for Administrative Affairs, and a number of senior National Guard officers were also present.
Lt. Gen. Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud conveyed the greetings of His Highness General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Commander of the National Guard. Shaikh Abdulaziz underscored the 21st Manama Dialogue as a leading regional platform for security and strategic discussions, which this year brings together representatives from more than 60 countries. Shaikh Abdulaziz highlighted Bahrain’s key role in advancing regional diplomacy, peace, and cooperation.
The two sides reviewed the close ties between Bahrain and Pakistan and discussed ways to further strengthen military and security cooperation in support of their shared interests. They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual concern, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
For his part, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), also received Lieutenant General Syed Aamer Raza, Chief of the Army Staff of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan (photo), and his accompanying delegation, during their visit to the Kingdom to participate in the 21st edition of the IISS Manama Dialogue 2025.
The Commander-in-Chief highlighted the deep longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, noting the continued development of military coordination and defence cooperation between the two countries.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) also received Sunday Zaqy Mohamad, Senior Minister of State at the Ministry of Defence of Singapore, and his accompanying delegation, during their visit to the Kingdom to participate in the 21st edition of the IISS Manama Dialogue 2025.
The Commander-in-Chief highlighted the relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Singapore across various domains.
Lastly, the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), received Admiral Sir Keith Blount, Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe, and his accompanying delegation, on the occasion of their visit to the Kingdom to participate in the 21st edition of the IISS Manama Dialogue 2025.
The Commander-in-Chief praised the strong and distinguished relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and NATO forces, as well as the ongoing coordination between the two sides.
Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs, and Senior BDF Officers attended all three meetings.
