AgustaWestland, a Finmeccanica company, announced that Saudi Aramco has taken delivery of 3 additional AW139 medium twin helicopters during an official ceremony held at AgustaWestland's Vergiate plant in Italy. These aircraft will be used to support oil and gas operations in Saudi Arabia. The AW139 achieved great success in many countries in the Middle East for a wide range of applications. It is now also in service with many of the global helicopter operators thanks to its outstanding features in terms of performance in the most demanding conditions, operational effectiveness, mission capability, safety and ease of maintenance
