At MAKS 2015 (25-30 August; Moscow, Zhukovsky), representatives from the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) confirmed that Rostec subsidiary companies, Russian Helicopters and United Aircraft Corporation will participate at the forthcoming which takes place from 21st – 23rd January 2016. Each company has taken a chalet at the show and aircraft participation is still to be confirmed.
At the signing ceremony that took place at the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS in Zhukovsky, Russia, His Excellency Engineer Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications for the Kingdom of Bahrain and Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee for BIAS said, “We are pleased to be attending MAKS as guests of Rostec. The Bahraini Government is committed to building stronger ties with Russia and working together so that both our countries benefit from fast growth in Russia and the GCC. Russian business has participated at BIAS since the inaugural event and we are delighted to see their continued support.”
Now in its fourth edition, BIAS is a focused global aviation event providing its elite list of aerospace business participants the opportunity for high-level networking in exclusive surroundings. With just 40 chalet participants and dedicated exhibition space, the event allows participants the opportunity to meet the extensive civil and military delegations invited as guests of HH Sheikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa - HM the King's Personal Representative and Head of the Supreme Organizing Committee of BIAS.
The forthcoming show will also see the launch of a Hosted Buyer program providing suppliers direct access to potential buyers, and a 2-day Conference Program covering Air Transport in the 21st Century.
