EDGE was honoured to receive His Majesty Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah, King of Malaysia, at several of its advanced technology and manufacturing facilities including Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) and CARACAL

The royal delegation was welcomed by H.E Faisal Al Bannai, Chairman of the Board of Directors at EDGE; Mansour Almulla, EDGE’s Managing Director & CEO; a number of senior officials accompanying the King of Malaysia; and other key members of EDGE’s senior leadership team.

Meanwhile, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, UAE Minister of State for Defence Affairs, received Thursday Malaysian Minister of Defence, Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan, and his accompanying delegation, at the Ministry's HQ in Abu Dhabi, UAE national news agency WAM reported.

During the meeting, which was attended by Matar Salem Al Dhaheri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defence and a number of senior ministry officers and officials, they reviewed aspects of strengthening cooperation between the two countries, with special emphasis on the defence field, to ensure further coordination and collaboration.
