Qatari, Italian Defence Ministers Attend Conclusion of ‘Nasr 2023’ Exercise

The Qatar Amiri Land Forces concluded Friday the Nasr 2023 exercise which was carried out with participation of friendly Italian forces, under the patronage of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs HE Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah and in the presence of Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces HE Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit.

The exercise aimed to raise the level of the Qatari Armed Forces in all specialties, and raise efficiency and combat readiness.

The conclusion of the exercise was attended by Minister of Defense of the Italian Republic Guido Crosetto, and a number of senior officer commanders in the Qatari Armed Forces, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.

In another development, the Military Parade Center concluded Monday the infantry competition No 37 of 2023, under the patronage of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs HE Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah.

The Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces HE Staff Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit also attended the event.

The Command of the General Command Support Force ranked first in the general appraisal of the competition. The Command of Military Police Forces ranked second, while the Parade Centre and the Armed Forces Band Regiment ranked third.

The Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces HE Staff Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit attended the event. The conclusion of the competition was also attended by several senior commanding officers in the Qatari Armed Forces.
