His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, met Saturday night with Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Jeddah.
During the meeting, they reviewed the close bilateral relations and ways to strengthen and develop them in various fields. They also discussed regional developments, particularly the repercussions of the ongoing military escalation on the security and stability of the region and the world, and coordinated efforts in this regard.
The meeting was attended by Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet, and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban, and President of the General Intelligence Presidency Khalid Al-Humaidan, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
From the Pakistani side, the meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces of Pakistan Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
In another development, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Transport and Logistic Services and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) Saleh Al-Jasser, in the presence of GACA President Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, received Saturday UK Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs Yvette Cooper and her accompanying delegation at GACA’s headquarters in Riyadh.
The meeting covered air transport topics of mutual interest, the Kingdom's airspace management efforts, and air traffic management through advanced technological systems.
Al-Duailej and the UK foreign secretary's delegation visited the Area Control Center at King Khalid International Airport, where the delegation was briefed on air traffic monitoring and airspace surveillance systems.
The program included a Saudi Air Navigation Services briefing on its role in air traffic management, operational safety, and crisis management.
At the conclusion of the visit, both sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise in air navigation and airspace management.
