Deputizing for His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordanian Armed Forces, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Huneiti patronized the graduation ceremony of the 65th course at the Royal Jordanian Command and Staff College.

Addressing the ceremony, the College’s Commander said the Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army (JAF) is keen to remain active in various world countries, under the direct guidance of the Hashemite leadership, which believes in exchanging expertise with other armies.

“In implementation of these goals, 93 officers from brotherly and friendly countries participated in this course, during which they acquired skills and expertise, enriching dialogue and exchanging views, thus being excellent representatives of their countries and armies,” he said.

He said the students spent a full year of training in an advanced educational environment, enhanced by the latest educational, training, and qualification methods for various command and staff positions, Petra news agency reported.

The College integrates theoretical education with practical training, providing students with a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills, diverse thinking abilities, and knowledge of the optimal method for sequencing the military decision-making process, confronting various challenges, and finding suitable solutions at the operational and tactical levels, he pointed out.

The Army Chief handed certificates and awards to graduates of the course, which grants a bachelor's degree in military sciences.

The course included officers of JAF and security services, as well as officers from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt, Yemen, and Rwanda.

Huneiti also inaugurated the Guidance Authority Club at the Royal Jordanian Command and Staff College, as part of the Armed Forces’ commitment to providing quality services to its personnel.
