Algeria’s Higher School of Territorial Air Defense - Chahid Ali Chabati - in Réghaïa/1st Military Region, crowned its new students with a graduation ceremony, which was supervised by Major General Abdelaziz Haouam, Commander of the Territorial Air Defense Forces (photo).

The graduated promotions had the honor of bearing the name of the late Moudjahid Chikh Amoud Ben Mokhtar, and are composed of:

• The 33^rd promotion of Command and Staff Officers
• The 50^th promotion of Officer Improvement Courses
• The 16^th promotion of Career Officers in Application Training
• The 13^th promotion of Engineer Training in Air Defense Systems
• The 12^th promotion of Licensed program (LMD)

The ceremony continued with a military parade performed by the various graduated promotions, marked by precision and perfect synchronization.

On the sidelines of the ceremony, the Commander of the Territorial Air Defense Forces, accompanied by guests, visited the educational facilities and the radar system. The ceremony concluded with a tribute to the family of the late Moudjahid Chikh Amoud Ben Mokhtar, the Algerian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

Earlier, as part of the graduation festivities of the year 2024-2025, Major General Omar Tlemsani, Commander of the 4th Military Region, presided over the graduation ceremony of the new promotion’s graduation, at the Higher School of Special Troops “Chahid Mustapha Khodja, known as Si Ali” in Biskra, 4th Military Region.

The new graduated promotions were honored to bear the name of the late Moudjahid “Naceri Mahmoud”. These promotions included the following:

• The 60^th promotion of the Improvement Course Officer
• The 30^th promotion of the Application Course Officer
• The 5^th promotion of the Common Basic Training
• The 5^th promotion of the Free and Operational Jumping Course
• The 27^th promotion of the Parachute Instructors Course
• The 35^th promotion of the Professional Military Brevet of the second degree
• The 6^th promotion of the Professional Military Brevet of the second degree/trainers
• The 60^th promotion of the Professional Military Brevet of the first degree
• The 22^nd promotion of the Professional Military Brevet of the first degree/trainers
• The 27^th promotion of the Military Brevet in Specialized Sports Education of the second degree
• The 28^th promotion of the Military Brevet in Specialized Sports Education of the first degree
• The 35^th promotion of the Professional Military Certificate of the second degree (new recruits)
• The 29^th promotion of the Professional Military Certificate of the second degree (from the rank)

At the end of the ceremony, Major General, Commander of the 4th Military Region, paid tribute to the family of the late Moudjahid “Naceri Mahmoud”.

Lastly, the National Gendarmerie Higher School “Chahid Mouaz M'hamed” in Zeralda/1MR celebrated the graduation of its new graduates promotions, in the presence of military and civilian authorities, the school’s staff and faculty, and the students’ families.

The ceremony was presided over by Major General Sid Ahmed Berroumana, Commander of the National Gendarmerie by interim. The graduated promotions were named after the late Moudjahid Gheziel Benabbes. The graduated promotions are:

• The 28^th promotion of the General Staff Courses – “National Gendarmerie”
• The 10^th promotion of the General Staff Courses - specialty “Logistics Support”
• The 67^th promotion of the Officer Improvement Courses
• The 06^th promotion of the Specialized Training for Career Officer Students
• The 58^th promotion of the Specialized Courses for Career Officer Students
• The 7^th promotion of the License Degree (LMD) for Career Officer Students - specializing in “Law and Public Security”
