ELT Group is taking part in the 2026 edition of ILA Berlin, Germany’s largest aerospace show, confirming its role as a long-term technology partner to Germany and a key player in the modernisation of the German Armed Forces.
ILA 2026 is taking place on 10-14 June at Berlin Expo Centre Airport. ILA showcases the full spectrum of aviation, defence and space technology, bringing together the global aerospace community.
With a presence in Germany for over four decades, ELT Group operates through ELT Group Deutschland, with industrial and development facilities in Meckenheim and a representative office in Berlin, confirming an industrial, technological and operational presence that has supported the country’s major defence programmes for many years.
In the aerospace sector, ELT Group has a long-standing involvement in major European and German programmes, starting with the Eurofighter Typhoon (EFA), a platform that continues to prove its operational relevance and is now embarking on a new modernisation programme. This is complemented by the Group’s contribution to the NH90 programme, a further key element of industrial and technological cooperation with Germany.
In the naval sector, ELT Group is involved in the German Navy’s modernisation programmes through its collaboration with Rohde & Schwarz to supply electronic warfare systems for the F124-class frigates, a partnership that forms part of the broader framework of Italian-German industrial cooperation in the defence sector. The collaboration leverages complementary expertise and consolidates a European technology supply chain focused on electromagnetic superiority and the protection of naval vessels.
At ILA Berlin, ELT Group is also showcasing its multi-domain capabilities, ranging from cyber – including through its subsidiary Cy4gate – to space, and including advanced tactical electronic warfare solutions. In particular, in the terrestrial domain, TEWS - Tactical EW Solution represents an integrated Electronic Warfare and Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) capability, based on mobile, interoperable and interconnected tactical platforms, capable of ensuring the protection of critical infrastructure and the acquisition of intelligence data to enhance situational awareness.
In the space sector, ELT Group reaffirms its commitment to developing capabilities dedicated to space-based electronic intelligence, with solutions focused on the collection and analysis of electromagnetic data in orbit - an area of growing importance for European security and defence. In this context, the company will be present at the Italian-German Aerospace Forum GIAF 2026, organised by the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Germany at the Italian Embassy in Berlin.
Finally, participation in ILA Berlin provides a further opportunity to strengthen industrial and institutional dialogue between Italy and Germany, within a European context in which defence cooperation is seen as a strategic factor for technological autonomy and shared security. In this context, ELT Group builds on its numerous partnerships with German defence industries and research institutes, promoting the process of localising its proposed solutions through the necessary collaborations.
For 75 years, ELT Group has been a world leader in electronic defence systems. Thanks to its innovative management of the electromagnetic spectrum, achieved through proprietary and integrated technologies, the brand is today an international group with a multi-domain approach covering cyber, space and biodefence.
Thanks to the experience gained by participating in major European defence programmes such as Eurofighter Typhoon, FREMM, PPA, ELT Group is today present in more than 30 countries around the world with more than 3000 systems delivered and is also participating in the project for the 6th generation avionics platform GCAP (Global Combat Air Programme).
