A Kuwaiti military delegation, headed by Assistant Chief of Staff for Logistics and Supply Major General Staff Engineer Salah Al-Azmi and accompanied by Chief of Armament and Equipment Brigadier General Staff Khalifa Duaij Al-Sabah, is on an official visit to Pakistan.

The Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense said in a statement Tuesday that the visit aims to discuss logistical and technical cooperation between the two countries, exchange expertise and review capabilities in logistics, supply, armament and equipment.

During the visit, the delegation held a series of meetings with senior Pakistani military officials in logistics and support services to explore avenues of cooperation and exchange technical and logistical expertise.

The delegation also visited military facilities, technical workshops, transport units, the College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, and training and simulation centers to review operational mechanisms and available capabilities.

Al-Azmi said the visit reflects the Kuwaiti Army’s keenness to strengthen military cooperation with friendly countries, exchange expertise and benefit from experience in logistical and technical fields, contributing to the development of capabilities and enhancing the efficiency and readiness of Kuwait's Armed Forces.

Earlier, Kuwait National Guard Deputy Chief Sheikh Faisal Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah reviewed preparations for the upcoming training season, the readiness of relevant units and sectors, and the requirements needed to implement training programs according to established plans.

Sheikh Faisal conveyed to the personnel the greetings and appreciation of National Guard Chief Sheikh Mubarak Al-Humoud Al-Sabah, along with his wishes for success in carrying out their duties.

He praised the personnel’s efforts in performing their assigned tasks, stressing the importance of continuing to work as a team while maintaining commitment and excellence. The meeting was attended by National Guard Undersecretary Lt General Hamad Al-Barjas and Assistant for Financial Affairs and Resources Major General Riyadh Tawari.
