Chief of Kuwait’s National Guard Sheikh Mubarak Humoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah chaired a high-level meeting on Monday with Senior Commanders to review progress in implementing the National Guard’s Strategic Plan 2030 and emphasize the importance of institutional governance.
The meeting, held at Sheikh Mubarak’s Diwan at the General Presidency of the National Guard, was attended by Deputy Chief of the National Guard Sheikh Faisal Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Undersecretary of the National Guard Lt General Hashem Al-Rifai and top-ranking Officers, the National Guard said in a press statement.
The discussions were rooted in the principles of transparency and justice - core tenets of effective institutional work - and aimed at ensuring the continued advancement of the National Guard as a leading security and administrative institution.
Sheikh Mubarak praised the efforts of Commanders and personnel in enhancing the Guard’s capabilities and reinforcing its position among government institutions that adopt modern administrative systems and continuous strategic planning, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
He affirmed that the progress achieved reflects positively on the Guard’s ability to fulfill its national duties and has earned the appreciation of the country’s political leadership, represented by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
The National Guard Chief also reaffirmed the leadership’s unwavering support in advancing training, professional development and capacity-building across all units, highlighting the commitment to providing all means necessary to achieve excellence.
Sheikh Mubarak stressed the need to further develop training programs, expand participation in joint military exercises, and activate cooperation protocols with various state institutions. He directed senior leaders to ensure optimal use of available resources in implementing the National Guard’s 2030 strategy, adhere to principles of good governance, regularly assess unit needs through field visits, and closely monitor the execution of strategic plans.
