The Malaysian Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) is thrilled to announce the official launch of LIMA 2025, scheduled to take place from 20th to 24th May 2025.

This prestigious event is a collaborative endeavour between the Malaysian Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and Global Exhibitions and Conferences Sdn Bhd (GEC), with the launching ceremony officiated by the Deputy Defence Minister of Malaysia, YB Tuan Adly bin Zahari, underscoring the government’s strong support and commitment to the event’s success.

The theme for LIMA 2025, “Innovate Today, Thrive Tomorrow”, encapsulates the spirit of progress and resilience as we navigate through an ever-changing global landscape. Now entering its 17th edition, LIMA has already garnered significant interest from industry leaders from all over the globe, highlighting its status as a premier event eagerly anticipated by both local and international players in the industry. We are thrilled to see such encouraging respond from the industry even though we only just launched LIMA 2025.

In ensuring the smooth and successful endeavour, GEC is collaborating with Arabian World Events, QUBE Integrated Malaysia Sdn Bhd, SHP Media Sdn Bhd, Curio Pack Sdn Bhd, Malaysian Aerospace Industry Association (MAIA), and Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MiGHT). Discussions are underway with other potential strategic partners whose expertise and support will undoubtedly contribute to the success and impact of this year’s exhibition.

In addition to the established exhibitions, GEC has introduced new segments aimed at attracting greater participation from small and medium enterprises (SMEs) both domestically and internationally, particularly within the aerospace and maritime sectors. We have tasked GEC with actively encouraging the involvement of government and private Higher Education Institutions with expertise in aerospace and maritime industries to actively participate in LIMA 2025. This initiative reflects MINDEF’s unwavering commitment to fostering maritime and aerospace industry development and nurturing human resources within these vital sectors.

MINDEF reaffirms its dedication to collaborating closely with GEC as co-organizers to ensure the seamless execution and global acclaim of LIMA 2025. We look forward to welcoming participants, stakeholders, and visitors to this landmark event, where innovation thrives, and the future takes flight.
