EDEX 2025 will open its doors next week, and Cairo is ready and preparing to welcome thousands of defence and security professionals from around the world.
As the region’s premier tri-service defence gathering, the Egypt Defence Expo will bring together 450+ exhibitors, 70+ official delegations, and tens of thousands of industry professionals across air, land, sea, and homeland security.
Held under the patronage of His Excellency, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Supreme Commander of the Egyptian Armed Forces, the 4th edition of EDEX will take place from 1-4 December 2025 at Egypt International Exhibition Centre, New Cairo.
Organised by the Egyptian Armament Authority of the Ministry of Defence, and fully supported by the Egyptian Armed Forces, EDEX is a biennial event that showcases the latest technologies and solutions in the defence and security industries.
EDEX attracts military personnel, government officials, industry professionals, and international delegations. The event features a fully-hosted international military VIP Delegation Programme.
Egypt has 1.2 million military personnel and is the largest military power in Africa and one of the leading forces worldwide. In addition, Egypt has historically maintained continuous investment in the latest armaments as a defence strategy and has strengthened national production lines across a range of military complexes.
For the second time, the organisers have selected Al Defaiya as “Official Arab Defence & Aerospace Media Partner” for EDEX 2025.
