Elements of the Egyptian and Cypriot Special Forces have carried out the joint military exercise “Ptolemy 2025,” which took place over several days in the Republic of Cyprus.
The exercise included a series of theoretical lectures covering a range of topics aimed at exchanging combat expertise, fostering integration and cohesion, unifying operational concepts, and enhancing the skills of participating personnel.
The exercise also featured a variety of practical training activities that demonstrated the high level of field proficiency possessed by the Egyptian and Cypriot Special Forces, enabling them to execute assigned tasks with efficiency and precision, the Egyptian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
In addition, the exercise involved the execution of both standard and non-standard live-fire drills, which reflected the high degree of professionalism and operational readiness of the participating forces from both countries.
This exercise forms part of the broader framework of joint military training programs conducted by the Armed Forces with friendly and partner nations, aimed at strengthening cooperation across various military domains. (Source & Photo © Egyptian Ministry of Defense)
