Bahrain’s Commander-in-Chief Receives French Military Attaché

Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received the Riyadh-based French Military Attaché accredited to Bahrain, Colonel Eric Baldecchi, in the presence of the Director of the BDF General Command Headquarters, Major-General Hassan Mohammed Sa’ad.


The Commander-in-Chief praised the bilateral friendship ties between the two countries, lauding the attaché’s efforts throughout his term, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

 

Earlier, Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa carried out an inspection tour to various armaments and units of the BDF.


Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa inspected the units’ administrative and combat readiness as part of constant follow-up of the units’ modernization and development in line with their assigned duties.


The top Commander hailed the directives His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa the Supreme Commander, that constitute the incentive to exert more efforts and boost the administrative, combat readiness and training in the various units to enable them implement their combat duties efficiently and capably.

 

He took pride in the BDF’s patriotic role in serving the beloved homeland and safeguarding the Kingdom’s civilizational and developmental accomplishments.

The Commander-in-Chief was accompanied by Acting Chief-of-Staff Major-General Abdullah Hassan Al Nuaimi.
