One of a key supplier to the French Army and partner to several government forces in the Middle East, Arquus is exhibiting its expertise at IDEX 2023 from 20-24 February, on the occasion of the show’s 30th anniversary.

Arquus is one of Europe’s leaders in protected ground mobility, designing and manufacturing world-class vehicles such as the VAB, VBL, Fortress and Sherpa, many of which are already proudly serving in the Gulf region.

At IDEX 2023, Arquus is showcasing all of its expertise, including its most advanced products and technologies, namely the Scarabee, Fortress Mk2 and VBL MK3.

Drawing on its agile industrial model and know-how in the fields of design and integration, Arquus offers tailor-made solutions that address all of its customers’ operational needs. Arquus covers the entire tactical wheeled armoured vehicle segment, and all its platforms are capable of integrating mission equipment and systems developed in-house or by its partners. Arquus builds a relationship of trust with each of its customers and partners, channeling shared expertise into the design of best-in-class products.

This new edition of IDEX will be the occasion to (re)discover the Fortress MK2 Armored Personnel Carrier (APC). Based on Arquus’ long experience in designing and supporting military off-road vehicles, the Fortress Mk2 (photo) successfully combines an excellent power-to-weight ratio with outstanding off-road capabilities. It benefits from the latest technologies and most advanced processes that make this product particularly efficient and seamless.

Its armored hull provides the Fortress MK2 and its 11 passengers with a very high level of ballistic, mine and IED protection. With its excellent mobility, the Fortress Mk2 can be equipped with the latest vetronics suites such as the Arquus Battlenet solution, as well as remotely operated turrets such as the Hornet for additional firepower and operational versatility in the field.

Meanwhile, the VBL MK3 is the combat light armored vehicle designed for reconnaissance, patrol and protection missions in all types of areas. It provides exceptional tactical mobility, excellent maneuverability, discretion and can be fitted with a large range of weapons and systems. The VBL MK3 benefits from the latest technical evolutions developed for the French army (Regenerated VBL program) as well as the integration of new equipment (CTIS, new dashboard, new seats, reinforced A/C, thermal insulation, RCWS).
