Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah inaugurated Monday the emergency medical clinic at the Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah building at the Ministry of Interior, as part of ongoing cooperation and coordination between the Ministries of Interior and Health to enhance healthcare services for Ministry personnel.
The inauguration was attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Major General Abdulwahab Al-Wuhaib, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health Sheikh Dr. Salman Khalifa Abdullah Al-Sabah, and a number of senior officials from both Ministries, the Ministry of Interior said in a press statement.
Sheikh Fahad toured the clinic’s facilities and departments and received a detailed briefing on its operating procedures and the medical services provided to military and civilian personnel of the Ministry of Interior, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
He commended the Ministry of Health’s efforts and continued cooperation, stressing the importance of strengthening coordination between the two ministries to further improve healthcare services for Interior Ministry personnel and facilitate their access to emergency medical care.
Sheikh Fahad emphasized that prioritizing the health and well-being of ministry personnel and providing them with a comprehensive work environment are key priorities, noting that this contributes directly to enhancing their efficiency and performance in carrying out their duties and responsibilities.
For his part, Sheikh Dr. Salman Al-Sabah said the clinic represents a valuable addition to the healthcare services available to Ministry of Interior personnel. He reaffirmed the Ministry of Health’s commitment to facilitating their access to medical care and continuously improving the quality of services provided to them.
The new clinic provides emergency healthcare services to both military and civilian Ministry of Interior personnel at the Ministry’s headquarters, enabling them to receive prompt medical attention while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
