Saudi Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz visited Tuesday the headquarters of the Spanish Civil Guard, accompanied by Spain's Minister of the Interior Fernando Grande-Marlaska Gómez.

During the visit, the Saudi Minister was briefed on the latest technologies and equipment used by several security and specialized units of the Spanish Civil Guard.

He also received an overview of their duties, operational procedures, and state of readiness and operational capabilities, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The Minister was also briefed on mechanisms for managing and coordinating security operations, as well as the advanced technologies used to support decision-making.

He also viewed a presentation on security measures for sporting events and large public gatherings, as well as the operational and technical capabilities of the two centers.

The official delegation accompanying the Saudi Minister attended the visit.
