Saudi Interior Minister Patronizes King Fahd Security College Graduation Ceremony

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz patronized last week the graduation ceremony of 1,662 students from King Fahd Security College, representing a number of academic and training programs.

The graduating classes included 59 male and female graduates from the Master’s programs in Artificial Intelligence (second batch) and Administrative Leadership (first batch), in addition to 1,603 graduates from the Bachelor of Security Sciences program (67th batch) and the 55th qualifying course for university graduates, among them 9 students from the Republic of Yemen.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the overall results of the graduating classes were announced, and Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud honored the top-performing graduates in the presence of several royal highnesses, excellencies, and senior officials, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

King Fahd Security College is an educational/military institute part of the Saudi Ministry of Interior. The College is located in eastern Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.

In another development, and under the patronage of Saudi Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Director General of Border Guard Major General Shaya Al-Wadaani launched a number of General Directorate of Border Guard services through the Ministry of Interior’s electronic platform Absher and the Border Guard e-services portal Zawil.

The launched services included the issuance of sailing permits for fishing, picnicking, and rescue purposes through Absher Individuals platform, enabling owners of vessels to issue sailing permits, as well as electronic diving permits through the Zawil portal on Absher Business platform, enabling diving centers, divers, and vessel owners to issue and manage various types of diving permits electronically for recreational or training purposes, in cooperation with Saudi Water Sports and Diving Federation.

The services also included vessel driving license applications through the Zawil portal, enabling beneficiaries to book driving test appointments for issuance or to view licenses.

The launch of these services falls within the Ministry of Interior's efforts to advance digital transformation through the introduction of automated services that contribute to developing and enhancing safety in marine activities, elevating the quality of services provided by the General Directorate of Border Guard to all beneficiaries
