VITEC, a leader in IP video streaming solutions, has partnered with the Jordan Design & Development Bureau (JODDB) to successfully integrate low-latency video streaming technology to enable secure, real-time Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations across remote and rugged border regions.

The vehicle-mounted mobile solution, which was integrated and commissioned by Haupshy, sees VITEC technology pair with the Dragon Eye electro-optical (EO) system and Al-Oqab mobile surveillance platform, supported by Es’hailsat resilient SATCOM connectivity.

“By uniting JODDB’s advanced Dragon Eye EO sensor and Al-Oqab mobile surveillance platform with VITEC’s mission-proven, low-latency MGW Diamond Tough video encoding and Es’hailsat COTM SATCOM links, we’ve delivered a field-ready ISR solution that ensures operators receive the real-time intelligence they need, no matter how remote the mission environment,” said Ghassan Dadokh, Senior Business Development Manager, Regional Head of Security & Defense vertical at VITEC.

“We are proud to collaborate with our partners and support a capability that enhances border security, improves decision-making, and strengthens operational effectiveness for defense and security forces,” he added.

By integrating VITEC’s low-latency, bandwidth-efficient video encoders, field operatives were able to securely stream high-quality ISR video from these mobile platforms over Es’hailsat satellite communication network, ensuring mission-critical visibility even in unserved or infrastructure-denied regions. The integrated solution from Haupshy aligned all multi-sensor, encoding, and SATCOM parameters into a seamless end-to-end operational chain.

JODDB’s Dragon Eye EO system provides day and night electro-optical and infrared imaging, precise target tracking, and rapid coordinate generation. The Al-Oqab mobile surveillance platform, which integrates Dragon Eye onto an electro-mechanical mast, was developed to operate effectively in high-terrain border areas where fixed tower systems are limited.

This combined solution delivers resilient ISR connectivity from the field to command-and-control centers, enabling defense and security operators to maintain situational awareness, monitor border activity, and accelerate decision-making.
