Bringing together the region’s most powerful decision makers, industry leaders, and innovators, the Arab International Cybersecurity Conference & Exhibition (AICS) is taking place in Bahrain on November 5–6.

Held under the esteemed patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister of Bahrain, AICS is recognized as a world-class platform for innovation. At AICS global and local tech companies present their latest cyber solutions, while thought leaders engage in discussions on the most pressing digital security challenges.

Bahrain’s forward-looking business environment, built on pro-innovation policies, makes AICS the ideal stage for professionals, vendors, and analysts to position themselves at the forefront of the industry. With its mix of cutting-edge showcases, strategic networking, and knowledge exchange, AICS isn’t just a conference, it’s a launchpad for lasting partnerships and leadership in the cybersecurity arena.

In other related developments, the National Cybersecurity Centre of Bahrain announced the signing of several partnership agreements with local and international companies, ahead of the Arab International Cybersecurity Conference and Exhibition (AICS).

These agreements are part of the Centre’s efforts to strengthen Bahrain’s cybersecurity ecosystem and foster the exchange of expertise and advanced technologies.

The first agreement was signed with Kanoo Information Technology (Kanoo IT), covering collaboration during the conference and exhibition. It includes a two-day cybersecurity awareness training programme in partnership with EC-Council and Gulf IT Network Distribution, designed to enhance participants’ knowledge and practical skills in addressing cyber threats.

The second agreement was signed with Paramount Assure, a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions in the Middle East, to deliver world-class training in MITRE D3FEND cybersecurity techniques. This partnership aims to enhance regional cyber defense capabilities through specialised education, professional certification, and capacity-building initiatives.

The third agreement was signed with Immersive Labs Limited, under which the company will organise interactive workshops and cyber crisis simulation exercises for executive and technical participants, as well as school students attending the conference. Both parties emphasised their shared commitment to supporting Bahrain’s cybersecurity ecosystem through training, capacity building, and knowledge exchange.

Shaikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Abdulwahab Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief Executive for Cyber Operations at the National Cybersecurity Centre, highlighted the importance of advancing Bahrain’s cybersecurity ecosystem through collaborative agreements that support national capacity building and skills development.

He further noted that these partnerships with leading local and international technology companies reflect the Kingdom’s commitment to international cooperation and knowledge exchange, while strengthening advanced training programmes that enhance national capabilities and ensure Bahrain’s readiness to meet emerging cyber challenges.
