Oshkosh Defense will be exhibiting the MRAP All-Terrain Vehicle (M-ATV) and the SandCat at SOFEX 2010. The M-ATV is designed to provide exceptional protection and superior mobility for operations on rugged, mountainous terrain and unimproved road networks.The vehicle uses the Oshkosh-patented TAK-4® independent suspension system to achieve a 70 percent off-road profile capability and 16 inches (40 centimeters) of independent wheel travel. To date, Oshkosh has received orders to produce 8,079 M-ATVs.

The protected and multi-role SandCat is available in three variants, utility, transport and Special Operations Vehicle (SOV), which are built around the same lightweight, high-performance platform. The vehicle was designed specifically for the international market and uses a modular armor system, which can be customized to meet the space, payload and protection needs specific to the mission. The vehicle is suited for a wide range of operations, including special operations, homeland security, law enforcement, military, peacekeeping and security, among others.
