The “First International Scientific Forum on Security and Safety” which is co-organized by Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS) and the High Commission for Industrial Security, was launched Sunday at the University’s headquarters in Riyadh.

The two-day forum convenes experts, specialists, workers, and practitioners in the field of security and safety within vital facilities across Arab countries and international organizations.

This event strives to showcase the latest scientific advancements in security and safety while fostering stronger relationships among industry experts and enthusiasts. It also aims to leverage both local and international experiences and expertise in this critical sector, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said.

Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS) was established in 1978 as part of an Arab decision to form the first Arab university specialized in postgraduate studies, research and training in all areas of security in its most comprehensive sense.

NAUSS receives full support, both material and non-material, from the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Fortunately, the University is managed and supervised by His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef, Minister of Interior, Chairman of the Supreme Council of NAUSS, and Their Royal Highnesses Their Excellencies the Arab Interior Ministers.

Since its early activities, NAUSS has emerged to showcase a specialized academic security message to Arab security personnel and to contribute to meeting the needs of institutions and security agencies in the ministries of interior, criminal justice, and social welfare agencies in Arab countries. Within years, the University has risen to be among the ranks of prestigious Universities and has even occupied a unique position closely related to the security of Arab society in its broader sense.
