Egyptian Army’s Chemical War Department Signs Cooperation Protocol with Mansoura University

Within the framework of the keenness of the General Command of the Egyptian Armed Forces to exchange scientific and practical experiences and support research activities with various Egyptian universities to achieve the highest levels of fruitful cooperation in various scientific fields, Major General A. Abdel Hamid Sayed Ahmed, Director of the Chemical Warfare Department, and Prof. Dr. Sherif Helmy, President of Mansoura University, signed a cooperation protocol with Mansoura University.

The protocol aims to maximize aspects of joint research cooperation between the Chemical Warfare Department and Mansoura University, exchange technical consultations in various scientific fields and applied research studies, the Egyptian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

The protocol also aims at the implementation of workshops and joint field visits in a way that contributes to keeping pace with the successive development in various practical and research fields to confront crises, disasters and epidemic diseases, as well as the exchange of attending international and local scientific seminars and conferences to achieve the maximum possible benefit for both sides.
