Qatar’s Emir Meets Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi

The Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met in Abu Dhabi Monday with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.

During the meeting which was held at Abu Dhabi International Airport, they discussed a number of issues of mutual interest as well as regional and international issues, particularly the latest developments in the region.

They also reviewed fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries and ways of enhancing them in various fields for the benefit and interest of the two countries and their brotherly peoples, as well as exchange views on everything that would promote the march of GCC joint action.

The meeting was attended by their Excellences members of the delegation accompanying HH the Emir.

The Qatari Emir was also received by Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy National Security Advisor, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister.

Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council, Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Affairs Authority, and Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, and Saleh Mohammad Al Ameri, UAE Ambassador to Qatar, were also present.

The Qatari Emir’s delegation included: Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee, and Fares bin Rumi Mohammed Al-Nuaimi, Ambassador of Qatar.

On Saturday, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar received in Doha Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Crown Prince and Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
