Lieutenant General Osama Askar, Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces, witnessed the implementation of the tactical command posts project, implemented by one of the formations of the Air Force, in conjunction with the implementation of the tactical command posts project for one of the formations of the Air Defense Forces.
These implementations continued for several days, within the framework of the combat training plan for the formations and units of the Armed Forces, the Egyptian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
The stage included presenting a summary of the mobilization idea for the two projects, reports and decisions to Commanders at all levels.
It also reviewed a number of operational activities to confront a hostile air attack in accordance with the system of joint action on the studied scientific bases. During the implementation of the two projects, it was clear to which the extent the participating elements had reached high combat readiness and skill in using the latest means of command, cooperation and control systems to carry out planned and emergency tasks.
Lieutenant General Osama Askar, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, conveyed the greetings and appreciation of General Mohamed Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, to all the participating elements in the two projects, praising the outstanding performance and high combat efficiency of the Air Force and Air Defense personnel.
He also discussed a number of commanders and officers participating in the project on the methods of executing the tasks assigned to them, and imposed a number of surprising tactical situations to ensure their ability to take the right decision according to the situation, and asked them to maintain the distinguished level and high combat efficiency to carry out all the tasks assigned to them efficiently and competently.
