With 920,000 military personnel, the largest military power in Africa and one of the leading forces worldwide, Egypt is the ideal setting for a large-scale defence & security event.
In addition, Egypt has historically maintained continuous investment in the latest weaponry as a defence strategy and has strengthened national production lines across a range of military complexes.

- For the first time, EDEX will host a Strategic Conference Program, bringing a new dimension of visitors to the event.
- EDEX will increase its size from three to four halls.
- In order to give exhibitors more chances to schedule meetings, EDEX will run across 4 days (as compared to 3 days in 2018).
- New feature areas have been confirmed at EDEX for Space, Arms & Ammo and Drones & Robotics.
According to the Organizers, EDEX 2020 is expected to attract over 30,000 industry visitors and 400+ exhibitors showcasing the latest technology, equipment and systems across land, sea and air, in addition to a fully-hosted international military VIP Delegation Program.
