During his visit to the USA, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander, Major General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, met Friday with US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.
HH Shaikh Nasser stressed strategic partnership and longstanding historic relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States, noting joint advanced cooperation at all levels, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
He underlined Bahrain’s keenness, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to further bolster ties and expand cooperation with the USA, particularly in the military and defence fields.
The two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations in a way that contributes to achieving the desired goals and serving common interests, in addition to regional and international developments.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, also met Celeste Wallander is Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs in the Office of the Secretary of Defense for Policy at the U.S. Department of Defense.

Both meetings were attended by Bahraini Ambassador to the USA, Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Assistant National Security Advisor, Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Strategic Security Bureau (SSB), Shaikh Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, and Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
