Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received outgoing British Senior Defense Advisor to the Middle East General Thomas Beckett.

He thanked him for his efforts, wishing him success in his new duties. He also lauded outstanding historic relations of friendship between Bahrain and the UK, praising bilateral cooperation in the military field, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

The meeting was attended by General Command Court Director Major General Hassan Mohammed Sa’ad and Assistant Chief-of-Staff for Supply and Catering Rear Admiral Yussef Ahmed Malallah.

Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa also received in Manama Kuwait-Resident Brazilian Ambassador to Bahrain Norton de Andrade Mello Rapesta.

He lauded strong bilateral relations and discussed with him issues of common interest.
