Earlier this month, MSA GALLET (Ain, France), received a one million euro order from NAMSA (Agency for Maintenance and Procurement of NATO) for Bulletproof Vests to be used by the Navy.

The Navy has chosen a model of MSA Paraclete vests designed specifically for the needs expressed by the French Navy Commando and operational units of the FORFUSCO (Navy Force and Navy Commando).

Thanks to its low water retention and innovative textiles, this model can evolve in a naval environment with high operational constraints (heavy radios, backpacks, weapons ...).

The vests have a quick release, an armor composed of hard plates, and a special coating protecting them from external aggressions and humidity. They are also composed of inserts flexible aramid fiber laminated compliant with NIJ STD 0101.06.

MSA is specialized in the manufacture of ballistic products, in respiratory and hearing protection (gas masks, filter cartridges, electronic ear muffs), in gas detection and in thermal imaging cameras.
