Historical supplier of the French Army, ARQUUS partners with the National Defense Sports Center (Centre National des Sports de la Défense), and with the Federation of Defense Clubs, which aims at developing culture and sport activities within the Ministry of the Armies.

The company will sponsor the French military judo and boxing teams which will be competing at the World Military Games in Wuhan in 2019.

By placing human values and soldier support at the core of its commitments, ARQUUS integrates strong values as effort, perseverance and team spirit. By supporting CNSD’s and FCD’s activities, the company wishes to contribute to the visibility of sports within the Defense community, and to the Army-Nation links.

Within this frame, ARQUUS will be committing to the French judo and boxing military teams, in order to accompany them in their road to the World Military Games of 2019, and to contribute to their performance objectives.

ARQUUS will sponsor and support these very judo and boxing military teams, throughout the 7th World Military Games, which will take place from October 18th to 27th, 2019 in Wuhan, China. The Games will take place under the signs of peace and friendship. They will gather military teams from 138 countries.

Military sport naturally contributes to the physical and mental preparation of the Army personnel. It creates links between all members of the Defense community and develops contacts and exchanges with the civilian sector, in the best interest of the Army-Nation link.

By sponsoring military sports teams, ARQUUS wishes to contribute to the soldier’s physical and mental readiness, by promoting the satisfaction of effort, and team spirit.

ARQUUS’ Corporate Social Responsibility policy is built on three major pillars: Defense-related social activities, Defense think tanks, including formation and sport, and citizenship activities.

Business Area of the Volvo AB Group, ARQUUS is one of the three members of the short-term consortium to which the French Ministry of Defense awarded the Scorpion contract.

The Group will be participating in the development of the new generation of wheeled armored personnel carriers for the French Army: the VBMR (multi-role armored vehicle) and the EBRC (armored reconnaissance and combat vehicle).

ARQUUS also supplies the powertrains and close defense remote control systems operated by these two vehicles. The company will also provide full logistics for spare parts and Scorpion subsystems
