Saudi Arabia’s Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs, Dr. Khalid bin Hussein Al-Bayari, and his accompanying delegation visited the International Defense and Security Exhibition (FEINDEF 21), which is held during the period 3-5 November 2021 in Madrid, Spain.
Dr. Al-Bayari and the accompanying delegation toured the Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) pavilion at the exhibition and met the CEO, Eng. Walid bin Abdulmajeed Abu Khaled, and a number of engineers within the training program, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The International Defence and Security Exhibition is organized by the FEINDEF Foundation, with the institutional support of the Ministry of Defence.
FEINDEF is the most important defence and security event held in Spain. In its second edition, the organizers expect the attendance of more than 60 foreign delegations and 300 exhibitors.
FEINDEF aims to contribute to global security through innovation and international collaboration so that companies, institutions, universities and other organisations can share their knowledge.
Navantia is taking part as a Global Partner at FEINDEF 21. Navantia is showcasing its capabilities as a leading company within the defence sector, and as a strong partner to the Spanish Navy and Ministry of Defence. The S-80 submarine and the F-110 frigate as well as its widespread experience as an integrator of complex systems and smart solutions are the main items in Navantia’s stand.
“Participating in FEINDEF means supporting the strategic sovereignty of our country and fostering the development of the defence industry. It means supporting innovation and creating qualified jobs,” said the president of Navantia, Mr. Ricardo Domínguez.
Navantia is organizing an event at its stand on each of the three days of the exhibition. These events show, among other things, the joint future of Navantia and the Spanish Navy, and Navantia new Centres of Excellence.
