The 9th annual Coastal Surveillance 2012 conference is back this year and will be held on 30-31 October 2012 at the Singapore Expo.

Organized by IQPC and dedicated to understanding the challenges facing the maritime security community, Coastal Surveillance 2012 provides a platform for industry stakeholders to discuss and learn the latest strategies in counter-piracy operations, deepening and enhancing inter-agency cooperation and collaboration and utilizing the latest surveillance/security technology in the face of increasingly sophisticated transnational maritime threats.

With over 20 nations expected at the event, the 9th Annual Coastal Surveillance 2012 summit will hit new levels of seniority, detail and insight, while providing a meeting ground for both military and industry leaders to interact and explore new opportunities.

The 9th Annual Coastal Surveillance 2012 exhibition will feature innovations from solution providers and air/sea platform manufacturers.
Having confirmed First Admiral Dato’ Pahlawan Mohamad Adib Abdul Samad, Chief of Staff, Fleet Operational Command, Royal Malaysian Navy, to deliver a keynote presentation two weeks ago, IQPC is pleased to announce that Commodore Alsolami Ali Halil, Royal Saudi Navy, will be participating this year to speak on maritime and counter-piracy operations.

These two distinguished Officers will join other speakers from Singapore, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, UK, Philippines and more, who have direct operational experiences in dealing with maritime security threats.

In addition, First Admiral Dato’ Abdul Samad and Commodore Alsolami will also be sharing their operational insights at the pre-conference Counter-Piracy Focus Day, providing critical lessons from their experiences in the Gulf of Aden and Malacca Straits.

According to IQPC, over 30 keynote presentations from senior government and Naval Officers across 20 countries, and 200+ delegates will attend the 9th Annual Coastal Surveillance Conference.
