ELT Group is exhibiting at DIMDEX 2024, the biennial maritime and defence technology exhibition held in Doha, Qatar from 04-06 March.

With its participation, the company wants to emphasize its ongoing commitment to the Qatar Armed Forces and their electromagnetic support operations (EMSO) capabilities.

Visitors can find more details about the Group’s commitment to the country and its technology capabilities at the ELT Group stand (H4-110).

ELT Group has been actively cooperating with the Qatar Armed Forces for many years, and its Electronic Warfare systems are deployed on the most advanced Navy and Air Force platforms, thus representing an EMSO benchmark for the country. Among the Qatari military units now employing the group's EW systems are the Eurofighter Typhoon fighters, NH90 helicopters, and all the new naval units the Navy has acquired in recent years from Fincantieri.

As evidence of this important collaboration and in line with the company's strategic plan aimed increasingly at internationalization, ELT Group opened a sales office in the country in 2017. Building on this initial presence, one of the short-term goals is to increase logistical support capacity in the country to make the maintenance of equipment already in use by the Qatar Armed Forces increasingly effective.

ELT Group’s most ambitious goal for Qatar, however, is to evolve from its current role as a reference supplier of Electronic Warfare equipment to that of a direct partner of the Armed Forces on very high-technology and specialized programs and projects. This is the cornerstone of the Company’s expansion plan, which leverages the unique expertise the group has developed in the areas of operational support, establishment of coordination centres for Electronic Warfare activities, training of military personnel on Electronic Warfare and Intelligence topics and arriving at the ability to provide of integrated and “turn-key” solutions for land and coastal surveillance.

Thanks to the credibility the company has gained over the years and the opportunities for support towards the Country that continue to open up in various areas, today ELT Group is ready to embark on a new phase of cooperation with the Qatar Armed Forces, aiming to become a long-term partner of the government and to have a stable and established presence in the country.

For more than 70 years, it has been a world leader in Electronic Defense systems. Thanks to innovative management of the electromagnetic spectrum, achieved through proprietary and integrated technologies, today the brand is an international Group with a multi-domain approach that also covers Cyber, Space and Biodefense.

By the experience gained through participation in major European Defense programs including Eurofighter Typhoon, FREMM, PPA today ELT Group is present in more than 30 countries in the World with more than 3000 systems supplied, and also participates in the project for the sixth generation avionics platform GCAP (Global Combat Air Programme)

ELT Group is headquartered in Italy and has a presence in 11 countries located on 3 continents through sales offices and companies of strategic importance and local law in Germany and Saudi Arabia.

Also part of the ELT Group are CY4GATE, which specializes in Cyber security and Cyber Intelligence, E4Life, Italy’s first Biodefense company and Solynx Corporation, a US-based technology scouting company.
