Abu Dhabi Airports Company Appoints New Chairman

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council has issued a resolution reconstituting the Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC), under the chairmanship of Abu Bakr Siddiq Al Khouri, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, as Deputy Chairman.

The new Board will have Mohammed Hamad Al Hameli, Abdullah Abdul Hamid Al Sahi, Saeed Rashid Al Zaabi, Tony Douglas, and Hisham Malak Khalid as its members.

Abu Dhabi Airports is a public joint-stock company, wholly owned by the Abu Dhabi Government. Created in 2006 to spearhead the redevelopment of the Emirate’s aviation infrastructure, Abu Dhabi Airports plays an important role in the Government of Abu Dhabi’s Economic Vision 2030.

Abu Dhabi Airports owns and operates five airports, including: Abu Dhabi International Airport, Al Ain International Airport, Al Bateen Executive Airport, Dalma Airport and Sir Bani Yas Airport.
