Raytheon Company is featuring some of its latest technologies and innovations at the 2017 Dubai Airshow, as it proudly acknowledges 30 years of partnership with the United Arab Emirates.

 

“The Dubai Airshow allows us to connect with customers and industry partners to create new opportunities for collaboration,” said John Harris (photo), Vice President, Business Development and CEO, Raytheon International Inc.

 

“We look forward to building on our 30-year relationship with the Emiratis as we explore the art of the possible to be a partner of choice,” he added.

 

At the airshow, Raytheon is featuring a number of its trusted solutions and proven capabilities that span integrated air and missile defense, cyber security, land- and sea-based defense systems, and air launched weapons.

 

With systems helping control two-thirds of the world’s airspace, Raytheon is also highlighting its air traffic management support and services, including in the UAE, and the global need for greater cyber security across aviation transportation. In addition, it will introduce a new Joint Precision Approach and Landing System that uses GPS to guide fast jets, helicopters and drones to safe landings.

 

Among other innovations of note, the company is highlighting its latest small unmanned aerial vehicle, Silver Fox, which is highly mobile, rugged and turnkey for immediate fielding in the Gulf region.
