For the 5th year running, a French Pavilion will showcase French technology and innovations at the ongoing Dubai Airport Show (11-13 May).
This tradeshow is a major event for any businesses intending to take part in the tremendous boom happening in the middle-Eastern airport market.
Gathered inside a 102-m² national pavilion organized by UBIFRANCE, the French Agency for International Business Development, French exhibitors are introducing their diverse, innovative products and know-how to buyers from the entire Middle East area, as well as from other countries like India, Iran, Pakistan, Tunisia and Turkey.
The Middle East area is poised for a 5.2% annual increase in air traffic by 2030. Investments of the order of USD 100b are expected by 2020 for the entire range of airport projects (building, extensions and modernization).
With 400 million passengers expected in the region’s airports by 2020, countries in the Middle East have set up massive investment programs, especially in airport infrastructures and passenger handling. Clearly, the goal here is to become the world’s leading hub.
These projects are creating unprecedented market opportunities for local and regional companies, as well as for foreign companies. French exhibitors, who are widely acknowledged for their unquestionable expertise and know-how in the full range of airport services, are therefore intent on positioning themselves. Their attendance at Dubai’s Airport Show is an excellent platform for presenting their products and for meeting with the 80 airport sector decision-makers expected at the Global Airport Leaders Forum being held in parallel with the tradeshow.
