Hosted under the patronage of the Bahrain Civil Aviation Authority (BCAA), the conference will gather some of the most prominent leaders of the region’s aviation sector to discuss the latest issues affecting the region’s business aviation market. Furthermore, attendees will visit the Bahrain International Airshow as guests of the BCAA
Speaking about the conference, Bahrain’s Minister for Transportation, HE Kamal Bin Ahmed Mohamed said: “We are delighted that MEBAA have decided to host their next MEBAC event in Bahrain. The timing, the day before the Bahrain International Airshow will provide a real boost to the opening day of the show providing our participants and exhibitors the opportunity to network with MEBAA members invited to attend the conference.”
MEBAA Founding Chairman, Ali Al Naqbi, further added, “The Kingdom of Bahrain is an important market for our members and as such the ability for us to host the conference alongside the Bahrain International Airshow will only re-enforce our commitment towards our members and business aviation in the region.”
Amanda Stainer, Commercial Director at Airshow consultants, Farnborough International Ltd, said: “This announcement is great news for participants at BIAS. Chalet space is 100% already, but there are still opportunities to participate through corporate hospitality and the Airport, Security and Surveillance Pavilion.”
The 3rd Bahrain International Airshow, organized by the Ministry of Transport, Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs, Kingdom of Bahrain (BCAA) in partnership with Farnborough International Ltd (FIL), will be hosted at the Sakhir Air Base, Kingdom of Bahrain, from 16-18 January 2014. BIAS takes place on a biennial basis offering high-level business opportunities to 40 participating companies operating from luxury chalet units and within the Airports, Surveillance and Security Pavilion.
