Oman Air, the national carrier of Oman, appointed Abdul Aziz Al Raisi Chief Officer, Management Affairs.

Al Raisi, who has been working with Oman Air for over 26 years, will continue being involved in all technical projects involving all new aircraft being acquired by the airliner.

 

As part of the senior management team, he will acquire a better knowledge of senior management work and bring into the team his entrenched knowledge of the industry, a statement said.

His expanded role highlights the important Omanisation drive at the most senior management level of the organisation, the statement added.
"Abdul Aziz has proven his mettle as an effective and dedicated manager at Oman Air," said Peter Hill, CEO of Oman Air.

"He has risen up the ladder through his sustained performance, including the great work he has undertaken in the acquisition by Oman Air of its Airbus wide-bodied aircraft," he added.
