Transport Minister Patronises Qatar Aeronautical Academy Graduation

Qatar Aeronautical Academy on Sunday celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2024 in four academic disciplines in the field of aviation.

The graduation ceremony was attended by Qatar’s Minister of Transport HE Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti, several Ministers, Heads of government entities, Ambassadors, and Officials representing the aviation industry and concerned Ministries.

Speaking on the occasion, HE Sheikh Jabor bin Hamad Al Thani, Director-General of the Academy, congratulated the graduates and wished them continuous success to contribute to the ongoing progress and development of the country’s aviation industry.

He added that the academy not only trains students, but also prioritises obtaining universal certifications and accreditations for the certificates it issues, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.

He said the graduates’ academic disciplines varied, covering pilot training, aircraft maintenance engineering, air traffic control and the Airport operations management.

A group of graduates who represent the Class of 2024 also addressed the audience and thanked the QAA’s administration, and teaching staff for their support and dedication.

Qatar Aeronautical Academy (QAA) was founded in 1977 as the Civil Aviation Academy of the Gulf States. QAA is now the Gulf region’s leading provider of training for the aviation industry.

QAA offers full-time, approved courses for Pilots, Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, Air Traffic Controllers, Meteorologists, Airport Operations Management Personnel and Flight Dispatchers, as well as short courses in a wide variety of aviation-related disciplines.

QAA continues targeting the highest levels of air safety and security, supported and supervised by the Ministry of Transport.
