The Kingdom of Bahrain and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) have agreed to boost cooperation and expand relations to serve common interests and reinforce peace and stability in the region.

The anti-nuclear weapons exhibition ‘From a Culture of Violence to a Culture of Peace: Toward a World Free From Nuclear Weapons,” created by Buddhist association Soka Gakkai International (SGI), opened on March 12 for the first time in the Middle East at the Bahrain National Museum in Manama.

Bahrain and Iraq have requested pricing and availability data for the newly upgraded H-1 utility and attack helicopters built by Bell Helicopter, said two sources familiar with the US firm’s development program.

The 33rd Summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) , hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain under the Chairmanship of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, in the presence of GCC leaders, concluded in Manama Tuesday and issued the Sakhir Declaration.
