Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) has signed an agreement with the UAE Armed Forces to build two combat ships equipped with multi-tasking equipment and advanced communication devices at a total value of AED 870 million.

As a strategic partner of the UAE Armed Forces, ADSB is committed to delivering the best quality standards and leveraging the latest technologies in the construction of these ships.

The establishment of ADSB in 1996 was in line with the vision of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed to have a world-class facility in Abu Dhabi to support the UAE Navy. ADSB initially focused on naval repairs and refits and gradually expanded its expertise to include building sophisticated war ships like the Baynunah 70m Corvette.

ADSB now specializes in the construction, repair and refit of Naval, Military and Commercial vessels. The company boasts an impressive portfolio of build and refit projects that are collectively worth at least AED 3 billion. Moreover, the company is widely recognized for carrying out its projects in Steel, Aluminum Alloy and High Tech Composite Materials according to the most stringent international standards.

Leveraging its highly strategic, centralized location in the Arabian Gulf region, ADSB is rapidly consolidating its position as the leading ship builder and support contractor for all Naval, Military and Commercial operators in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

ADSB has also built a global network of strategic partners from different countries, each offering a unique set of professional and technical expertise that complement ADSB's specialized maritime capabilities. ADSB's strategic partners have been carefully selected for their expertise, specialist knowledge and reputation in the design and build of Naval, Military and Commercial Ships.
