Saudi Arabia's Sama Airlines will suspend all operations from today following hefty losses. The decision was taken after the airline recorded losses of SR1 billion ($266 million), according to a Sama official.

Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC) has been awarded a contract by EADS Defence & Security, through its Military Air Systems business unit, to deliver 88 inertial measurement units (IMU) for Tranche 3A of the Eurofighter Typhoon.

  Saudi Arabia plans to build a new airport in Al Qunfudah province, Jeddah-based Okaz daily reported, citing Fada Al Baqami, the Governor of the area. The site of the new airport is in the Jabal Murshid area in the south east of Al Qunfudah, according to Baqami.
